Honest Impression – Part.2
Shape detached from material
Products, identities, and brands are presented in a way where every element becomes a reference. Words are projected on visual material to communicate values. The core object of what is shown is no longer what is presented, but what that object can represent. The impression we wish the object would leave in our lives becomes of greater importance than the actual specifications, attributes, and characteristics that the object holds.
It’s now more important than ever to reflect upon honesty in branding and product presentation and to be aware of the consequences.
Labelling has the power to educate or misguide. This publication is created to challenge the material presented, to show contrasting labelling that communicates the diverse consequences of text implementation. A compilation where the visual graphics are extracted from the same core through different methods and the labelling gives the objects new meaning.
